Rain ends promising battle
Buckhorn arrived at Warminster with the black clouds overhead threatening what was set to be a tight game between two of the strongest sides in the Three Counties League. The two sides are yet to meet in the League, with last year’s fixture being called off because of rain. This year did not see the fixture completed either; as after 25 overs, with the score at 126 for 5, the rain took grip and the game had to be abandoned. Continue reading
Simon and the spinners see Buckhorn breeze home
Buckhorn’s first league game of the season saw excellent weather and the return of some familiar faces to the Buckhorn team, with the Ellwood brothers and Charlie Leach making a comeback.
